Rhonda Singleton recognized
Rhonda Singleton was hired as a time-limited Employment Consultant I at the Scotland JobLink Career Center/Division of Workforce Solutions in July of 2009. Soon afterwards, it was apparent that she was a very valuable employee; as a result, she was hired permanently in May of 2011. From the very beginning, Rhonda has always been willing to assist with any program to ensure the smooth operations of the entire office. She regularly reports to work early, logs in her computer and begins answering the phones assisting customers with questions before the office officially opens. She consistently takes the initiative to do things around the office without having to be asked. Rhonda is very organized and conscientious about her work responsibilities. When assigned a task, she can be counted upon to complete it correctly and efficiently. Her computer skills have been an asset to her colleagues and management in the office.
Scotland JobLink was chosen to operate a pilot program entitled Opportunity North Carolina which is designed to assist in bringing together employers and job seekers to fill jobs in a new way for our state. Rhonda has readily and eagerly accepted her role in the new program and has worked hard to ensure its success. She accepts all responsibilities with a smile and works very hard to ensure she accomplishes and exceeds all goals.
Rhonda Singleton goes above and beyond her duties and it is my pleasure to recognize her as an Outstanding Workforce Development Professional. – submitted by Betty Galloway, Scotland County JobLink Career Center
